Let's break myths about mobile radiation and stop fear-mongering
When you make a call, radiofrequency communicates with the cell phone towers. Do you remember the Electromagnetic spectrum? Radio waves have low frequency and wavelength ranging from a few meters to a few kilometers further it is non-ionizing radiation. There's no strong evidence that exposure to RF waves from cell phone towers causes any noticeable health defects.
From UV rays to Gamma rays frequency is high, the wavelength becomes so small that can break chemical bonds inside a molecule, hence we call them ionizing radiations which is harmful to humans and animals. (note: this is not released from mobile).
Is non-ionizing radiation harmful to humans?
Scientists claim that the heat produced by the non-ionizing radiation can lead to burns and body tissue damage, but don't worry heat produced from smartphones are not so intense that can cause burns. You can check your phone's SAR (specific absorption rate) value by dialing *#07#. FCC a US agency has set a radiation limit of 1.6 watts per kilogram. This limit is way less than the radiation which would result in actual heat production. If the SAR value of your phone is less than this, there is no need to worry.
Are there any long-term harmful effects of mobile radiation??
The chance of any long-term effects because of using a cell phone is very low.
The simple reason for this, If you take the population of the world as a sample size you would see the rise in cell phone usage in the last 20-30 years.
The exponential rise in mobile usage. |
No disease has seen an exponential increase in those years.
cancer rates by type in 20 years, worldwide. |
If using cell phones had resulted in harmful effects, we would have seen it in some or other diseases.
I AM NOT PROMOTING SMARTPHONE USAGE!!!
If you are addicted to smartphones you may face the mental issues and vision defects associated with them.
let's check what studies suggest, I am sure you could relate to it.
- Feeling depressed/anxious by comparing yourself with others on social media.
- It hampers daily activity, even the posture of our body.
- Give your mind an incentive to get over the addiction, be creative, find new hobbies so that you lose interest in phones.
- There are some smart ways to trick your mind by creating some fiction or by using grayscale on the phone, you will eventually lose interest because apps are designed smartly with colors that attract us.
- Avoid using a smartphone from an hour before you go to bed to ensure your biorhythm is not confused, plus feel extra freshness the next morning.
Technology is good servant but bad master
ask yourself , are you slave to your phone or master?
- The blue light from the phone➡ uses some filters.
- Dryness ➡ blink eyes frequently
- Straining our lens by always looking nearby, so while using phones take few seconds to see far objects.
- SUPPOSE you are using spectacles, don't skip doing eye exercises.
Good, information Sri
